Salads: Cole Slaw with Avocado Dressing

Alkalizing Salad

If you want to enjoy an Alkaline Salad, please consider the following:

always use fresh vegetables and fruits,

use cold pressed extra virgin olive oil

and instead of vinegar you should always use lemon or lime juice.

Of course you can choose your favorite fresh herbs and spices for seasoning.

Enjoy your alkalizing salads!


Ingredients for 1 bowl

½ cup green or red cabbage
2 carrots
1 tomato
1 small red onion
3 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 avocado
3-4 tbsp. cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
1 fresh lemon, juice
Dash of sea salt and cayenne pepper to taste


Directions

Shred cabbage and carrots, and finely chop the tomato, the onion and the parsley. Put in a big bowl.

For the dressing, blend the avocado, the olive oil and the fresh lemon juice and pour over the salad.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

That's it - enjoy!
